Gary Pallister – Hero of The Holgate

Gary Pallister started his football career at non-league Billingham Town, before joining Middlesbrough where he made 156 League appearances over nearly five seasons.

His Central defensive partnership with Tony Mowbray in the legendary teams straight after the clubs liquidation in 1986 is regarded as one of the best in the history of The Boro.

Gary signed for Manchester United but rejoined Middlesbrough  in July 1998 making a further 61 appearances...
