I have been collecting autographs since I was a kid and spent many an hour trying to get my favourite Middlesbrough player to sign a autograph, especially in the 1970s when players were more approachable than todays stars.

My interest went to a new level when the autograph scene burst onto the internet and my collection boomed - So much so that my collection out grew me and either I had to stop or get a bigger house.Although the internet offered a means to getting additions to my collection it also had its pitfalls and I noticed that vast amounts of people seemed to have easy access to the stars that seemed so elussive to the general public - also if you looked closely, a lot of signatures were very suspect and in general if you adopted the view "if it seems to good to be true - it probably is" it did not take a genius to realise the market was awash with fakes.

I started really studying the market and found certain dealers and outlets which I could trust and only dealt with them - further building a already oversized collection.

Along the way I have been conned but you learn by your mistakes and now I have a knowledge of the business that I can share with anyone who wants to join in something that can be fun and rewarding.I have some great and trusted contacts and am proud to be associated with them.

I am Member No: 73 of the highly regarded EPS Group and have access to the many items they obtain, in fact MOMENTS IN TIME was the brainchild of the joint owner of EPS (Mr Les Read) and his help in getting the project off the ground has been invaluable to me.

I had previously set up Signed Sealed and Delivered which was a internet based business which used ebay and a seperate website to market its goods - it allowed me to continue with my hobby, pass on the experience I had gained - and by buying and selling, my collection could be sustained and monitored at a level that allows me to remain in a house that I can afford.

It has been a natural development from that, which made me want to take the jump from dealing with mainstream items (which many dealers seemed to be selling) to offering an exclusive and high quality product.I will continue to market other products and many will be offered on this site but I am sure the MOMENTS IN TIME product will soon become the mainstay of the business, as the product is of such High Quality and a unique.
